The Assistant Head for Academic Affairs will help to shape and continually refine the school’s academic identity and empower faculty to deliver an experience that advances scholarship, ignites purpose, and fosters connection.
Reporting to Head of School Paul Sanders, the Assistant Head for Academic Affairs will join the senior leadership team at a pivotal time in the school’s evolution. Building on strong foundations in teaching and learning, the Assistant Head will focus on program development by supporting the design of innovative, interdisciplinary learning experiences, enhancing academic consistency across divisions, and strengthening faculty growth and evaluation systems. Working in close collaboration with division directors and department chairs, this leader will ensure that San Domenico’s academic program remains aligned, mission-driven, and responsive to the opportunities and challenges of contemporary education.
