Educators Collaborative is excited to partner with Newark Academy on their search for a new Middle School Principal for July 1, 2025, when the current Middle School Principal, Tom Ashburn, becomes the Head of School.
Founded in 1774 and now located on a beautiful 68-acre campus in Livingston, NJ, Newark Academy is a highly regarded day school of 672 students in grades 6 – 12. The Wilf Middle School, which was opened in 2017, provides a dedicated space for the almost 200 students in grades six through eight, with 10 classrooms, three science labs, two common spaces for gatherings, and an outdoor play area. Middle School students are encouraged to dive into discovery and also have fun. The remarkable and supportive community embraces each child as they build skills, learn from mistakes, and grow. The middle school faculty is a cohesive and collaborative team that knows, challenges, and supports every child as they navigate the wonderful and messy years of early adolescence.
