Friends Select School is seeking a Receptionist, Safety Monitor, and Operations Assistant to help maintain a secure and welcoming school environment. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role involves monitoring school entrances, managing visitor access, assisting with operational projects, and supporting various school functions such as mail distribution, procurement, and inventory management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor school entrance, greet visitors, and enforce security protocols
- Manage visitor screening and oversee security camera feeds
- Support student dismissal and special events
- Handle mail distribution, shipping logistics, and supply inventory
- Assist with school and family transportation requests
- Process ID requests and manage digital access passes
- Support school operations, including procurement and school store sales
- Ensure compliance with emergency and medical procedures
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required
- Experience in security, facilities management, or operations
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Ability to monitor security systems and enforce visitor policies
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and administrative tasks
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or with others
This is a full-time hourly position. The pay range for this position is $21 - $23 per hour.
